There’s such heartbreaking truth here in the quiet performances we put on to survive. I feel every word, the ache behind the silence, the courage in reclaiming your own voice. Thank you for sharing this profound journey from suppression to self-acceptance. It’s a reminder that strength often lives in the quietest places.
omg, reading this felt like you crawled into my chest and read what’s written in my heart, ty so much for writing this!!!! i never felt this represented and didn’t read something this relatable in quite some time!
every word of this speaks to me, every single word. everyone assumes that we are selfish, mean, that we don't care for anyone else, that we don't feel emotions just because we don't show them, they don't realize that this is our self defense against their actions, even the smallest ones leave a deep scar in one's mind, there's a lot more behind the facade we put up, a lot more depth to our soul but just hidden bcs we don't want to get made fun of our emotions again. this was so damn relatable, I don't think anyone could've put this better than you <3
we are one! its horrible but it does make us better people, because it causes us to always be so considerate of other peoples’ feelings </3 thank you for reading
this is heartbreakingly relatable. i’ve gotten so used to hiding my feelings from people that sometimes i don’t even realize that i’m actively doing it
I deeply relate to this, although I have always failed to properly hide my feelings. I hope you'll find people where it isn't necessary to suppress your emotions and instead can express them freely ❤️
this is so well written i think u capture really well that like "loneliness" and smile that we put on to cover for the pain we hide. really well read as always
